Feb 19, 10 - Movie Night

Posted February 19, 2010

Movie NightTonight was a rush. My fiancee and I both had company events to attend and we also booked a movie starting from 10:30. After work we rushed to our respective events. Drank wine, laughed, teased, were teased and then promptly at 9:30 rushed off.

Most of my colleagues are married, so they must have thought I was nuts. Likewise for my partner. But that is part of being in that sometimes-frustrating, always-entertaining land of before-children / before-marriage but soon-to-be. We can still pretend we are dating, teasing and getting to know each other.

And even after we get married I want to keep this going. Even if, as I am sure it will, it becomes more and more difficult. Even being so close, sharing adventures, date-nights, movies and many other experiences helps us continue to learn about eachother and also remember how unique we are.

I want to marry my partner for many reasons, but one key reasons is that we can have so much fun together. So shouldn't we do things that are fun?
